The Mayor of Tehran conducted a field visit to review the progress of the southern extension of **Tehran Metro Line 6**, examining the latest construction status of the stations in this section and emphasizing the need to accelerate completion and preparations for commissioning. The visit was attended by managers from the **Transportation and Traffic Deputy Mayor’s Office**, the **CEO of Behro**, and project personnel. During the visit, city officials emphasized the need for rapid coordination among the implementing agencies, strict compliance with safety standards, and accelerated completion of station entrances and connecting tunnels.

The visit focused on the southern stations, including **Ebn-e Babuiyeh, Cheshmeh-Ali, and Hazrat Abdol-Azim Shrine**, where significant physical progress has been reported. In addition to reviewing construction progress, city officials approved the planning for equipment procurement, systems installation, and preparations for the initial operational testing phases, with the aim of bringing these sections into service within the established schedule and integrating them into the city’s public transportation services.

In this project, **Behro Comprehensive Consulting Engineers**, serving as the **Employer’s Consultant**, has assumed a role extending beyond conventional supervision. Through the implementation of **technical and operational management mechanisms, interdisciplinary engineering leadership, and quality assurance systems**, Behro has been responsible for coordinating all technical and execution stakeholders. The Behro specialist team has facilitated rapid and reliable **technical handover** by reviewing and adapting drawings to actual site conditions, planning operational tests, and managing execution risks. This strategic involvement has not only accelerated the handover process but has also ensured technical quality and compliance with **national and international standards** throughout the final stages of the project.

The expected outcomes of the **southern extension of Tehran Metro Line 6** include expanding metro network coverage in the southern areas of the capital, reducing local traffic congestion, improving citizens’ access to sustainable transportation, and increasing service frequency across the connected sections. The completion of station entrances and connecting tunnels, along with preparations for the initial operational testing phases, is regarded as a key step toward achieving these objectives.
