**Tehran Metro Line 9** is one of the strategic new-generation lines of the capital’s rail transportation network, designed to strengthen connectivity between the western, central, and southeastern areas of the city. The line begins at **Chitgar Station**, along **Line 5**, and extends through key urban corridors, including **Kouhek, Olympic Village, Shahran, Jannat Abad, Punak, Shahrak-e Gharb, Sanat Square, and Vanak**, connecting to the heart of Tehran’s rail transportation network.Continuing along its alignment, Line 9 passes through neighborhoods including **Pasdaran, Zarrabkhaneh, Majidieh, Narmak, Niruye Havaei, Chaharsad Dastgah, Nabard, Basij, and Moshiriyeh**, ultimately reaching **Dowlatabad Station on Line 6** and the **Taghiabad Terminal**. In doing so, it completes the backbone of an independent and highly effective **east–west corridor**.
Through its extensive interchanges with the seven operational lines of the Tehran Metro network (**Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7**), the line will play a decisive role in improving accessibility, reducing intra-city travel times, and alleviating traffic congestion along Tehran’s major corridors. The diversity of surrounding land uses, high travel demand, and the strategic importance of connecting the **north–south and east–west corridors** have made Line 9 one of the most complex yet impactful projects in the development of the metro network.
**Behro Comprehensive Consulting Engineers**, serving as the **Employer’s Consultant** for this major project, assumes overall responsibility for all high-level technical and management activities. These responsibilities include supervising and controlling studies, coordinating among design consultants and construction contractors, reviewing and approving technical documents, managing time and costs, evaluating execution options, managing risks, and providing specialized support to the Employer in critical project decision-making.Behro’s involvement in **Tehran Metro Line 9**, backed by decades of experience in infrastructure and rail transportation projects, ensures **engineering precision, process integration, and project advancement in accordance with national and international standards**.
