Behro Consulting Engineers Company has cooperated with Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Company (Metro) with the approach of conclusion of technical issues and meeting the needs of that company regarding matters related to Tehran metro rolling stock with the following objectives:


Objectives:

  • Rolling stock consulting services in design and construction phase
  • Rolling stock consulting services in testing, commissioning and provisional acceptance certificate (PAC)
  • Rolling stock consulting services during guarantee period
  • Issuance of final acceptance certificate (FAC) for Tehran metro rolling stock
  • Contract legal advice services in metro rolling stock projects


List of Projects:

  • Design and supervision of supplying 10 aluminum metro trains (70 metro cars) for Tehran metro lines
  • Consulting services for supplying required rolling stock for Tehran metro lines 1 & 2 including manufacturing and assembly of 245 single-decker cars (35 aluminum trains), 210 single-decker cars (30 steel trains), 3640 in-car monitors, one simulator, 160 radio communication systems and 160 sets of ATP system.
  • Consulting services for Tehran metro line 5 (Tehran – Karaj) rolling stock including 160 double-decker cars, 38 electric locomotives, 38 sets of ATP systems, 38 radio communication systems and one wheel profile measuring device
  • Consulting services for Tehran metro line 4 rolling stock including 15 aluminum trains and 7 steel trains
  • Consulting services for supplying 4 steel trains (12 cars) for Tehran metro line 4 in order to extend the line to Mehrabad Airport
  • Consulting services for supplying 13 steel train (91 cars) for Tehran metro lines
  • Providing technical and legal documents for project of supplying 30 steel trains for Tehran metro lines
  • Consulting services for supplying the first 105 metro cars for Tehran Metro lines
  • Consulting services for supplying the second 105 metro cars for Tehran Metro lines by public-private partnership method using Note 19 of the Budget Law
