Tehran Metro line 10

Behro Consulting Engineers, as employer consultant in civil, equipment, Rolling Stock and operation engineering, plays a key role in leading and supervising the project.

Project Description

The approximate length of Tehran Metro Line 10 is 44 km which has intersection with most of existing lines (lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7) and future lines of Tehran Metro network. This line starts in the east of Tehran in the area of Tehranpars 2^nd square (intersection with the eastern extension of line 4) and along Babaei highway goes to the west and intersects Bagheri, Imam Ali and Sayyad Shirazi highways. The project route intersects at Nobonyad station with Tehran metro line 3. Then, the route has intersection with Shahid Sadr Station in metro line 1, crosses Modares Highway, Parkway intersection, Chamran Highway, International Exhibition, Kaj Square, Sarv Street, intersection with metro line 7 at Meydan-e Ketab Station. The route passes through Kouhestan Boulevard, Abshnasan highway, Shahran and Kouhsar Boulevards, it will intersect with Kouhsar station in metro line 6. Then, crossing Hemmat and Azadegan Highways, it intersects with metro line 9 and goes west to District 22 of Tehran Municipality along 9^th Yas Street, Austria Square, Sahel Square, Jozani Boulevard and northern side of Chitgar Lake and it will connect to Vardavard metro station in Tehran metro line 5.

Specifications of the first executive section

The executive operation has started in the first section of line 10 with a length of 14.5 km, between Daryacheh Square and Ketab Square. This section includes 12 stations, the specifications of which are presented in the table below.

Execution activities of this section such as surveying, geotechnical operations, TBM overhaul, execution and execution of Daryacheh station piles, etc. are underway. For conducting geotechnical studies of the route and stations in this area, 39 exploratory boreholes and 25 manual wells has been considered.
